Roofing
Is our specialty

We assemble forces to accommodate any client, residential or commercial. We use the highest quality materials, skillfully hand nail each roof, and settle for nothing less than a six layer roof for every build.

The Brightwater Difference

Six Layer Roofs

Brightwater Roofing Co. upholds a six layer standard for every roof, which provides maximum protection. Most roofers stop at only four, leaving clients at risk.

1. Leak Barrier
2. Roof Deck Protection
3. Starter Strip Shingles
4. Shingles
5. Attic Ventilation
6. Ridge Cap Shingles

Unlike others who generally use a 15 or 30 lb. felt paper and 3 tab cut and quartered shingle, we offer synthetic underlay and true starter shingles. We also apply IWS to hips and valleys, and put a 30 year shingle with ridge vent on every home we touch!

Nailed by Hand

Unless the property owner specifies otherwise, Brightwater Roofing Co. hand nails every roof using six nails per shingle instead of the standard four.

We don't use pneumatic nail guns because they leave too much room for error — not only with changing pressures or nail guns used at different angles when hands are tired, but specifically when it comes to how deep the nail is penetrating the surface of the shingle/decking, and whether the nail is properly placed to begin with. An improperly placed nail can void the manufacturer's warranty, and an over-driven or under-driven nail can cause the roof to be susceptible to damage or future leaks.

Free Inspection &
Consultation

We offer free inspections and consultations before the start of any project - you can count on our team to give you an honest assessment.

To date, Brightwater Roofing Co. has told more people they DON’T need a new roof vs. those that needed a new one!

“We contacted Nick after an inspector found numerous issues with our roof and the attic support structure. We thought we would be buying a new roof and spending a lot to shore up the existing attic support. After his inspection, Nick found that the roof was about half way through its life and that the support structure was fine. There were some minor issues that needed to be addressed. Nick could have sold us a new roof and support structure. His honesty saved us thousands of dollars. When it is time for a new roof, he will be our first contact. I would rate his professionalism and work quality as outstanding.”

Payment Options

C A S H

The process for cash paying clients includes an initial inspection, a consultation and agreement on the scope of work, and final payment due upon completion of the build.

I N S U R A N C E

Brightwater Roofing Co. helps clients navigate the insurance process after experiencing damage from a natural disaster.

After the claim is filed, our team meets with the insurance adjuster at the home to assess the damage and to ensure the claim gets approved. We handle any adjuster meetings and paperwork in exchange for building the roof. (If the claim is NOT approved, clients do not owe Brightwater Roofing Co. a dime!)

Insurance payments to insurees can be reduced to the following equation:

RCV = ACV + Deductible + Recoverable Depreciation

In an ACV policy, depreciation is not recoverable since the amount owed the insuree is the Actual Cash Value of their property as it stands today, or Adjusted Cash Value.

The way it works when we are awarded an insurance contract is simple. We collect the ACV check upon signing of the contract, and the deductible once the project is complete. Once the deductible is collected from the insuree, Brightwater then sends an invoice to the insurance company to collect the recoverable depreciation check.
